The Nash Titan cradle range launched in 2016 as a direct response to the growing UK syndicate rule that fish over 15 lb must be handled in a rigid cradle rather than a flat mat. The T3 replaced the earlier T2 in 2020 with a stiffer perimeter frame after Nash received field feedback that lively 30 lb+ fish were still deforming the T2 frame enough to roll out. The T3 is now Nash's best-selling welfare product and the default cradle stocked by every serious UK tackle shop.
How it actually works on the bank
The perimeter frame uses a 12mm aluminium tube pre-formed into the cradle shape, permanently stitched into the outer fabric sleeve - unlike some competitors, the frame cannot slip out or shift under load. Padding is a 70 mm closed-cell EVA foam layer bonded to a 3 mm neoprene inner and a 0.6 mm PVC-laminate waterproof outer. Six reinforced weep holes drain the padded top within 30 seconds of tilting. Folded, the frame collapses into a Z-shape secured by two Velcro straps at 42 × 65 cm - fits into any standard barrow bag.

The most-common cause of retirement is not frame failure but foam degradation - UV exposure and mould from wet storage compress the foam permanently over 5+ years.
